Please, before buying a Paper Counter or Batch Tabber… know where it is made, and know where it will be serviced. All broad-range, off-line Paper Counters are created “equal”… using the same basic counting technique, a Vacuum System by which each paper is physically touched to count.
Routine, general maintenance is typically all that is required to keep a USPC model running at top efficiency. However, like all electro-mechanical devices, there is always a chance of a difficulty that would require professional assistance. Our unique system allows for the Counting Head to be easily removed. The Counting Head is the Heart and Soul of the Paper Counting Machine. Customers shopping for a Paper Counter are wise to ask if the Counting Head is a separate assembly, can it be easily removed? It does make a difference.
LARK/USPC offer a loaner-head program by which a customer with a difficulty they cannot address in house, is sent a Counting Head to use while their Counting Head is being repaired. A great alternative to shipping an entire machine for repair. All parts and supplies are available to be shipped on a same day basis. All assemblies are of Modular Design and can be readily replaced if necessary. When you need parts or service or operating supplies… how long can you afford to be down? We believe that anything over one day is excessive.
